The US Sports Institute’s (USSI) new and improved tennis camps improved in 2010 and will continue for 2011.

In order to provide campers with the best possible tennis experience, all USSI tennis camps and programs will follow United States Tennis Association (USTA) guidelines and in particular, the Quickstart format. Thirty USSI staff members have participated in two USTA training workshops and the company is now an active USTA member organization.

USSI has been providing tennis camps in the North East region for 10 years, each year providing tennis instruction to over 2,000 children. USSI has implemented the USTA training philosophy into their own camp curriculum and regardless of a players ability level, USSI incorporates fun, development and competition into all sessions.

Director Simon March commented: “Our aim is to create the ideal tennis camp environment for the beginner to intermediate player aged 3 to 18. Children attend a sports summer camp to have fun, meet new friends and enjoy the sport they are playing; USSI focuses on providing the perfect balance of learning, safety and enjoyment to allow this to happen”.

US Sports Institute also supported USTA Eastern, by donating summer camp scholarships which allows junior players the opportunity to attend a camp. They are campers who would normally not be able to afford the opportunity.
