Flushing, New York, Sept. 2 - Jersey Shore Junior Tennis Academy, headed by NJ Board Member Patricia Oulette, participated in an exciting on-court exhibition on Saturday, September 2nd at the US Open to promote USTA's new Net Generation software platform.

The exhibition took place in Louis B. Armstrong Stadium. There were 19 Academy members who participated in Red Ball competition. This was followed up by a special treat for Academy Member Ahren Kapur-Sarma (pictured on right with US Open Umpire Mohamed Lahyani and ATP Player Adrian Mannarino) who was given the opportunity to toss the coin for the professional match that followed. The exhibition was a tremendous, unforgettable experience for the Academy players, and will go a long way toward keeping them engaged in the game as they grow older.

Net Generation is USTA's new platform which is designed to attract and engage a new generation of young players by connecting and working with coaches, schools, parents and program providers, and giving needed asistance and support.
